Podcast with James Warnken and Ken Nakata

James Warnken and Converge Accessibility

James Warnken is a young, super-bright technologist and marketer, and a good friend of Converge Accessibility. He's been a guest blogger several times. He's also a huge fan of our WebAlign solution, regularly takes part in our weekly WebAlign user calls, and uses WebAlign to give students at Blind Institute of Technology a logical framework for understanding WCAG and how to design, develop, and test web pages to conform to WCAG.

My Podcast with James

Several weeks ago, James asked me to take part in a podcast with him. At first, we planned to chat about digital accessibility law-- a topic that I obviously blog a lot about. Instead, the conversation naturally morphed into something very different-- a free-form discussion about how digital and built environment accessibility are (finally) converging (pun intended?).

Join Us at the National ADA Symposium!

When this post publishes on June 10, I'll be at the National ADA Symposium in Minneapolis. My session will be "3G: Reducing Web Accessibility Risk" at 3:20p. This will be a relatively free-form discussion about how private and public sector organizations can reduce the risk of liability of web accessibility lawsuits and improve opportunities for their customers with disabilities. If you are attending the Symposium, be sure to drop by.
